Farm League director Tim Wheeler and Leviathan teamed on a commercial for The North Face that transforms a Dick’s Sporting Goods store into an outdoor winter scene and back again. The cross-promotional campaign features The North Face athlete Callum Pettit gearing up for an alpine adventure from inside a DSG store.Products
Although many of the skiing shots come from existing footage, live action footage of Pettit was shot with a RED EPIC camera inside a Chicago DSG and on the slopes in Calgary. Andrew Maggio edited the spots using Apple Final Cut Pro at Leviathan’s studio. Snow effects were created with a combination of Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects, and other tracking and effects shots were completed using Nuke from The Foundry, along with After Effects.
